…. and now back to my usual, busy world of fitting home stuff in cover stays and running sundries. It’s always enlivening to take a little detour from the tiring rat race, and thing with us tired humans, when it’s done we always held back saying …. Sigh, wish this isn’t over yet and most often than not flounder on our post-vacay maladies.
But I guess that’s how life is to be lived in this space and time, one time you’re good, most of the time you’re not, what matters is we know how to find a balance and who knows next vacation can come early than expected.
So let’s work at it again …

I was on a three-unit morality lecture with my son this evening about telling the truth and lying, thing with kids sometimes, you thought you know everything about them but just like everyone of us back when we were teens, we have our gray secrets kept to death that we hope mom wouldn’t know right at where she suspect about something. But thing also with moms instinct, you’ll know it when your kids are hiding something from you. Though is cases of my kids it only involves gadgets and time stamps about not going home on time, still I would encourage them to tell the truth.
Isn’t this meme perfect why we should?

As soon as I wake up today I checked on my email in the hope that there’s a radical change on yesterday’s partial Election result, but I seem to have been played by fate, nothing significant happen, Nancy Binay still hold the 5th position consistently. For Pinoys active in social media, she has been a subject of ridicule due to her underqualification to run for Senator, but because she’s the daughter and bears the family name of the incumbent Vice President, add to that her overwhelming placements of TV ads and for sure took on stern measures injected by her political strategists – close to 12M Filipinos, that excludes me because I voted for Risa Hontiveros, seat her to Senate.

Time and again, here I am complaining about the result of this election, I voted for the people I believe can bring not only change but can inspire the citizen of this country to be good, honest and productive ones. Now, I can do nothing about the result of this election, I maybe as disappointed as those who rooted for more qualified candidates as your political background is just an OJT and fixes table clips and dashes table at home, but I believe in giving people chances. Please use this chance to prove your detractors wrong. Show us then your sincerity to serve, not just a BIMPO [batang isinubo ng magulang sa politika] but as a mother that is true to her duty to raise not only her children but this country as well.
